Snapshots from Sri Lanka, Vol 5

I’m happy to report that we get to be virtual tourists today! Luckily for me, Shutterbug Sis has been powering through her jet lag to get her photos organized, so now I have the chance to share them with you!

Today’s photos explore the beach and a nearby rock* temple.

For the rest of the month, we’ll be celebrating Virtual Tourism Thursdays, and the amazing work that Shutterbug Sis did with TRIP Canada in Sri Lanka. For those of you who don’t know, Shutterbug Sis recently took two weeks away from Corporate World to volunteer in Sri Lanka, where she worked to build a school and repair the temple in a local village. I hope you’ll stop by to share her experience with us!

*thanks for the correction Sis!

  2. um, wow. The Buddhist monk (?) next to the cannon reading the paper is great. What an awesome album and what an awesome sister you have.

    • Isn’t that an amazing one? I just love all of the shots she took of the people there, so different from anything we’d see here, with that whole juxtaposition of old/new.

Thanks as always for taking the time out of your busy morning to comment, my friend!

I'd love to hear what you think!
