Pointless Nostalgic Countdown: Day Six

I can’t believe our Countdown is almost at an end! Moving day is upon us, my friends, and I so appreciate y’all coming along with me for the ride (and helping me cope with my childhood being put into storage)

While we’re on the subject of audience shout outs, I have to say a big

Happy Birthday to Shutterbug Sis!

She maintains that since we’re not actually celebrating in the midst of all this madness, she’s staying at 25 for another year, but I wanted to wish her a happy birthday anyway!

On to today’s item. As promised, our Embarrassment Index is up to the max, so I won’t even attempt to explain this one away with an introduction:

My Dawson’s Creek Scrapbook

Complete with handwritten episode guides, character profiles, and, naturally, plenty of photos torn from the pages of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

I’m thrilled to announce that tomorrow we’re having a special visit from someone much more articulate and entertaining than me:  the lovely and talented Angie, author of the hilarious  blog Childhood Relived is going to be here! She’ll be talking about a favourite TV show from her childhood, so that I won’t feel so alone in expressing my embarrassingly enthusiastic love of the Creek.

Thank you Angie, for helping me end the Pointless Nostalgic Countdown with a bang!

Everyone be sure to come by tomorrow to check her out!

For our last contest entry: Just hit the like button and you’re in! And thanks for playing!

  1. What a nice introduction — I will never live up to that, Amber! Your Dawson’s Creek scrapbook is a fraction less embarrassing than my Michael Jackson fan club book, complete with information about his favorite foods, his favorite colors, his favorite movies, his favorite parts of the Elephant Man’s remains. Wow, not at all weird.

    • Pfft – you’re too modest Angie! But I must admit to feeling comforted by the knowledge of your MJ scrapbook. I can definitely relate! :-)

  2. Hey Amber, hope you’re doing well!
I wanted to let you know that you make a few cameos in today’s post – the 100th in Funny Names Blog History – and we give you a one-of-a-kind award. I think you’ll enjoy it :)
