Celebrating in Style

Last summer, I decided to celebrate my 100th post in style. I threw a week-long party. There were interviews with esteemed photographers and swoonings over esteemed guest posters. And I was so thrilled when so many of you came out to play with me!

You guys, I can’t even believe that was 100 posts ago! Has the time flown by while we’ve been having fun, or what?!?

That’s right,

Today is my 200th post!

(also, in a nice little bit of blogging-serendipity, I passed the 200 followers mark this week).

Hooray!

But I’m older and more mature now. I don’t need to celebrate with another countdown (and besides, we all know I have a countdown planned for the Oscars that I’ll be launching next week). In the spirit of yesterday’s post, and in the spirit of my wonderful friend Bonnie’s Word of the Year for 2013, I’m choosing to celebrate by giving a gift to all of you, instead. Enjoy!

If you’re not the kind of person who smiles when they see this photo … then you’re probably not reading this blog.

Stay warm this weekend, my friends!

    • What perfect timing! :-)

Meanwhile, I had to laugh at your comment, because MY sister is still waiting for the legwarmers she asked me to knit her back when I was in university!

    • Isn’t it, though? I wonder how long it took? And the even better question: I wonder what inspired the knitter (or knitters) to do it? I may have to do a bit of research this weekend and find out :-)

    • Thank you Mimi! You know I’m a huge fan of your blog, too – you always make me stop and think :-)

I just love these ponies too … I might have to make them my blog mascots!

  1. Congrats on 200! It seems like #100 was just yesterday. Time really flew by!

I wonder what the market is like for pony sweaters? Seems like a niche market if I’ve ever heard of one.

    • Thank you! I know – time here on the blog(s) is going by crazy fast. But I think that’s a good thing!

What I wonder is, how did that idea come about in the first place? Did the ponies look cold? Like they wanted accessories? What? :-)

I'd love to hear what you think!
