Good morning, and welcome to post #97.
True, our games might not be on the same scale as the ones being played in London…but they’re pretty close! I’m proud to say that we have readers from over 30 different countries here at Words Become Superfluous. That sounds pretty “Olympian” to me!
On that note, I present:
Swedish Olympic Athlete … or Ikea Furniture?
Sadly, I can’t take credit for this fantastic idea of a game – I saw Ellen Degeneres feature it on her show and am totally stealing her thunder. But! While Ellen focused only on Sweden, we’re going to look at a wide range of the countries who are competing in this year’s Games – we dream big here at Words Become Superfluous, after all.
How to Play:
All you have to do is decide if each of the names listed below belong to an athlete… or some other object. Since I’m expanding on Ellen’s idea, they won’t all be Swedish athletes, and Swedish furniture won’t be your only object choice. You can fill out the form as many times as you like, and your latest entry will be considered your final one.
Good Luck! Don’t forget to leave your name (and blog if you have one) for your chance to be featured in a super-special shout out on Friday’s 100th-Post-a-Palooza Finale!
