Wordful Wednesday for October 31st, 2012: Spooktacular Haloween Edition!

Today’s word is a fun one, because, not only does it relate to this spookiest of holidays, but it sounds, fittingly, totally gross.

Today’s word is pusillanimous: chicken hearted; lacking courage

In other words …

I am completely pusillanimous when it comes to entertainment and can’t even get through a single episode of Scooby Doo without covering my eyes. A horror movie on Halloween? Forget it!

Happy Halloween everyone!

  1. pus……pusill……pusillani….. ahhh now I got it easier when you break it down
PUS-ILL-ANIMOUS.. I was like that with the original Exorcist (Linda Blair) Movie!
But I think I just said I was scared 🙂 Good word…now only to retain it!

    • Yes indeed – I had to break it down quite a bit myself! For some reason I’m always drawn to the really long words …

Oh man, I can’t handle horror movies at all. One year I went to see “The Grudge” on Halloween with some friends – big mistake. HUGE. The walk back through the parking lot was the longest of my life!

  2. I’m with you cousin!! I love Halloween, but can’t handle any of the new horror movies! I can only watch the old cheesy ones. This year my Halloween ‘horror’ movie was Hocus Pocus! Such a great movie! 🙂

    Have a spooktacular evening! xo

I'd love to hear what you think!
