The New Man in My Life

If you’ve visited the Words Become Superfluous Facebook page recently, then you know I’m spending a chunk of the long weekend in the beautiful lakeside town of Port Perry.  I had been planning to tell you all about it on Tuesday, but something happened yesterday that I just couldn’t wait to share with you.

I met someone.

Sorry, Dave.

We saw each other on the street. His beautiful brown eyes stopped me in my tracks.

He’s laid back and easygoing. He has great hair.

And he outweighs me by about 50 pounds.

Everyone, meet Cayden:

    • I wish, but his owners probably wouldn’t be too keen on that 🙂 Isn’t he something?! Honestly Liz, he has better hair than me!

  1. Following up to Liz’s comment, will I be on the guest list? He’s adorable, and perfect. And yes, those eyes. I wish you both lasting love ♥ 🙂

    • Thanks Bon! Your support means a lot 😉 His “mom” was telling me that he’s trained as a therapy dog, and he visits the local nursing home once a week. What a gentleman!

  2. He probably doesn’t like coffee, either. Much less rom coms.

In my opinion, you’re asking for trouble with this Caynine guy, or whatever the heck his name is. He looks like a bad sort. The first chance he gets he’ll just dump you for some shaggy-haired . . .

Er, I was almost going to use the “b” word, but I know this is a family joint.

    • Oh, Dianne, you would have loved him! And you should have seen his 11 month old little brother – trust me when I say I use the term “little” loosely!!!

I'd love to hear what you think!
