A Break from Our Regularly Scheduled Programming … Sort Of.

Good morning everyone! I’m happy to report that I’m much calmer, cooler, and more collected than I was when we were talking about stalking, erm, I mean casually tweeting, with musicians yesterday. I’m so calm, cool, and collected, in fact, that I don’t have anything to post for you here today.

Franklin and Bash were the stars of my very first Favourite Television Show You've Never Heard Of. Congratulations, boys!

Franklin and Bash were the stars of my very first Favourite Television Show You’ve Never Heard Of. Congratulations, boys!

Of course, that’s not entirely true. I said I was calm; I didn’t say I had a completely new personality! Today is Thursday, which means that we should be talking about television. And we will be! Just not here. It’s Week Three for me over at The Duck and the Owl, and this post will be updated with the link as soon as it’s live. In the meantime, I’m working from home today, which means that I can give you my undivided attention in the Comments section.

So pull up a keyboard and let’s chat! You’ve patiently listened to me talk about My Favourite Television Shows You’ve Never Heard Of for over a year … and now it’s your turn!

Tell me, what’s one of Your favourite television shows that no one’s ever heard of?

Bonus points if I actually haven’t heard of it in my travels across the dial: infinite and unending bragging rights will be yours!

love amb

  1. I’ve been watching a series on the BBC iPlayer called Peaky Blinders, about gangsters in Birmingham just after WWI. A great show but my it’s annoying that they couldn’t find one actor with an authentic Birmingham accent!

    • Can I tell you how excited I got when I read the name of these series?!? Peaky Blinders is just about the most fantastic sounding show name I’ve ever heard. Gotta love the Brits! I’m definitely adding this one to my list 🙂

      • They were street thugs in Birmingham around the turn of the 20th century. Named after the way they sewed razor blades into the peaks of their cloth caps to use as a weapon usually aimed at the eyes, hence peaky blinders.

    • Happy Thursday to you Liz! LOVE these show suggestions – Neil Patrick Harris! Hooray!! The name “Stark Raving Mad” seems to ring a bell – perhaps someone was describing yours truly, lol – but I can’t say that I remember any of the episodes. So I’m going to be checking this one out for sure!

  2. I’m with Deborah. I don’t watch enough TV these days to have anything to suggest. Thus why I rely on you to help guide me.

FYI my younger sister is now on the Community bandwagon. Thank you very much. 🙂

    • Whoohoo !!! Ask her if she’s excited for the next edition of “Troy and Abed in the Morning”. Or if she’s ever been to a pottery class and felt like “Ghosting”. Or if she misses Starburns. Or … you know what, on second thought, it’s probably just better if she and I become friends on Facebook 😉

  3. I don’t like how Emily Deschanel’s career sometimes gets overshadowed by Zoey Deschanel’s, so maybe a post on Bones isn’t a bad idea. Who’s Will Amb?

I'd love to hear what you think!
