Happy New Year’s Eve !!!

Can you even believe that there are only a few more hours left in 2013 ?!? I can’t, and coming from someone who believes in the TARDIS and the timey-wimey-ness of our universe as much as I do, that’s saying a lot.

Speaking of my beloved Doctor (and when am I not, really?!) there’s a quote from Matt Smith’s first season that sums up how I feel about 2013 quite nicely:

β€œThe way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things or make them unimportant. And we definitely added to his pile of good things.”

My 2013 had piles of good things and bad things too, and you, my most Wonderful of readers and commenters and dear, dear friends, you definitely added to my pile of good things.

Now, so that I don’t leave our final post of the year a sniffling, snuffling, snot-nosed mess, here is, as promised, your final virtual advent treat. May your 2014 be filled with as much joy and fun and straight up adorableness as this dude’s so clearly is:

Happy New Year !!!

love amb

  2. Happy New Year’s, Amb! Great Dr. Who quote–so true, every bit of it.You’re totally on my pile of good. Which is a way better place to be than that other pile, so yet another reason to celebrate πŸ˜‰

lol the baby, though I also wonder, “What are those parents thinking and why are they doing that to their baby?” Will make a great addition to a graduation or wedding video someday.

We’re on the flip side of ’14, so yes to Onward πŸ˜€
