Introvert Fairy Tales

Good morning! I love you and miss you all and after this week work will calm down and I’ll have time to come back and play in the Comments more often. In the meantime, I have a story for you on this lovely Tuesday morning.

I wish I could take the credit for it, but I can barely take the credit for getting myself to Corporate World on time these days. There’s an entire team of baristas and public transportation employees and more baristas keeping my schedule running these Mondays to Fridays, you guys. For now, I’m dreaming of the weekend … and books. Enjoy!

Introvert Fairy Tales: Belle

Once upon a time there was a young woman called Belle who fell in love with a library. Sure, there was a guy and a rose and a particularly talkative tea set, but mostly there were books. And they all lived happily ever after.

I’ll be back with a slightly more original story (and vocabulary!) for you tomorrow. Have a wonderful day all! (And thank you Sophie!)

love amb

  1. I’ve been reading a book called Dorothy Must Die. Basically a sequel where Dorothy goes back to Oz and is a despot ruler. Light in the least.

  2. I feel for you, amb, as I know this space is important to you and to have you AWOL in comments is unheard of in my year+ of knowing you. Can only think things are off-kilter for you and wishing you the best. (On the flip side, things could be so crazy-good that you’re opting for a non-virtual life and if that’s the case, woo hoo 😀 ) Though I’m thinking it’s more of the the first so will offer a virtual go-get-’em girl and also a (virtual, unfortunately) package of unopened Easter peeps. They might go nicely in your pb mallow bombs. ?? Take care and thanks for the story.

  3. I love this so, so much. There is nothing better than getting lost in a good book. NOTHING.

I hope things calm down in corporate world. Having just come out of my self-imposed blogging sabbatical because of life craziness, I know it’s not fun. Sending you lots of good juju!!!

I'd love to hear what you think!
